Discussions where the work lives
Every band has a discussion, and every song and setlist can have one too. Settling an arrangement question happens on the song, not in Wednesday's chat thread. @mention a bandmate to pull them in, watch typing indicators for quick back-and-forth, and rely on real-time updates so nobody reads stale replies.
Task checklists with owners and due dates
Book the venue, pay the deposit, arrange transport, print the setlists. Create tasks, assign them to a band member, and give them a due date. Tasks can link straight to the gig, song, or set they belong to, and the assigned member can tick off their own task without waiting on anyone. The list groups itself by urgency: overdue first, then this week, later, and anything undated, with finished work collapsed at the bottom.
Reminders that fire once
Get assigned a task and you get a notification. Own something due tomorrow and you get a reminder. No nagging loops, no duplicate pings.
Per-event RSVP & availability
Every calendar event has an RSVP board: who's in, who's out, who hasn't answered yet. Send an availability request for a date and members answer from the notification, so you're not chasing people down one at a time before booking the room.
Notifications on your terms
Everything above lands in the in-app notification center right away. Email delivery is per category and per person: immediate, folded into a morning daily summary, or off entirely. The band sets the signal; the noise is your choice.
